CHALLENGE: When it was acquired by a larger bank, Franklin had 12 diverse, non-matching facilities, and a missing brand/identity. Franklin Bank wanted to expand its market and place itself far away from the colonial "Ben Franklin" image, to a more progressive looking facility. The bank wanted a hub and branch network to facilitate its expansion into the market; a few well-placed two-story hub locations with more one-story satellite office locations.
SOLUTION: Simultaneously, we developed a two-story and one-story cutting edge design to solve the challenges facing the bank. We worked with the bank to translate their progressive marketing and sales culture into a masonry, glass and steel facility with an iconic triangular entry feature and plan derived from the bank’s logo. These elements reflect the banks strong commitment to retail banking.
